I’ve just read Mij. Quite chilling. Now I want to know what happens BEFORE and AFTER, and I have to wait for the book to come out?

Seriously, you’ve captured my attention and I look forward to reading The Imperial Son. I liked your first book, too, it was hard to put down.

Hi Dean. Thank you so much! Yes, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait for the book to come out. Fortunately it won’t be a long wait, I am currently ahead of schedule.

          Hi Azada! 🙂

Hey that’s great. I’m glad you enjoyed reading Mij from The Imperial Son. You won’t be disappointed with how that goes (I trust). Thanks for your comment about the cover, too. It’s great to know I seem to be doing the right thing.

    Hi Allyson,
I’m following this Mij character due to your latest post. *i have to copy this first because its quite long and I’m at office hour, heheheh*. so, i think her character quite strong for a thirteen years old. it’s cool how a kid could become so brave outside when i could feel a vulnerable inside.
and i love the way you explain and describe everything. your choice of words is really cool. i always wonder how a writer could choose their words (is that why they become one? :))

      Hi Yuna! 😀

Thank you for reading Mij, and thank you for your kind words. I am so pleased that Mij comes across that way, brave on the outside and vulnerable inside, which is exactly as I wanted her to appear. I write “from within”, meaning I “put on” each charcter and look through their eyes and see things from the perspective of their experiences. That way I can feel how they would react, and I let them run. It’s great fun, I love it. 😀

Yes, copying it out is best, it makes it easier to read, I think. Cheers!

      😀
