Back to Back

Back to the back of book 1, that is – Yes, I’m still fluffing about with that, but I think I now have something worthwhile without trying to cram all the plots on the back.

Once again, If you don’t like reading the back teaser-page of books, don’t click the continue reading link. Everyone else, please take a look at what I have come up with and let me know how it works for you. This is text only, please note that font, font size and line-spacing are unavailable to me in Blogsville).

The cops can’t help her.
Maybe Aleisha should have ‘seen’ that, but
she’s not that kind of psychic.

She’s inexperienced, untrained and caught up in the
power struggle of an exiled Khekarian Prince
determined to return to a brutal empire.

It was supposed to be a dream come true, living and working
on a newly colonized world, but there are no laws out here to
protect her from an unexpected danger.
It’s all Stephens rules, Stephen’s choices, Stephen’s way.
Only it isn’t Stephen’s team anymore. Not really. The two
Khekarians in his crew have taken over and
no one is safe anymore.

The only way Stephen is going to get rid of them is to give
them what they want. That includes an exotic alien-native
specimen reputed to appear and disappear at will, a species
that will strengthen the Khekarian war effort and bring about
the overthrow of the Chiddran Empire.

It also means handing over Aleisha.
If they have their way, Stephen’s going to make a fortune and
Aleisha will never see the Terran Sector again.

The warning will be in very small print and at the bottom of the page.

I like it. Much tighter and even more suspenseful than it was before. Well done! Each paragraph has one solid image, hits the reader hard and gives them a reason to move on to the next one.

This is music to my soul – Thank you, Writingsprint – You were part of the process that made it happen (I’ve been stuck for the last 18 months).
